ImageWhat’s the point of expressing bewilderment at the state of violent crime increase in these islands if we are not prepared to do something about it? Gun crimes seem to have gone out of control. Ninety percent of these types of criminal activity have gone as mysteries. No one knows who done it.

ImageThe ole time sayings that are familiar to people of my generation never fail to hit a home-run of truth when we need to come back to basics and face reality. Take this one: “An ounce of prevention is better than a whole pound of cure”… simple truth everybody knows. But the sad thing is, society seem to be too caught up in its own drama to pay any attention to truth, these days. If so, we need to un-dramatise ourselves and focus on some real life-enhancement solutions.

ImageTo those who are new to the Territory or are just getting involved in community affairs, the excitement may be high when there’s a big turn out and excerpts are featured in the media. Our own leaders who have been doing this for decades never seem to grow weary of the protocol and it is a bit sad that the wheel seems to be in need of invention over and over again. This does not mean that new efforts are not timely and appreciated.
