With a ‘lucky mango’ from Barbara’s kitchen on Tortola, Atlanta’s Erica Adams, shook off the effects of a car accident to retain the women’s crown at the BVI Lawn Tennis Association’s BVI Open last Sunday, which was sponsored by Alphonso Warner Insurance Agency.

ImageTrinidad and Tobago won the opening game of the Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CBC) tournament on Tuesday afternoon against Jamaica 88-76 at the Multipurpose Sports Complex in Road Town. The senior men’s tournament ends on Saturday and features eight teams divided into two groups. Group A has Bahamas, Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago.
