Devon Bedford and Shaunlee Fahie, were whisked away by prison officials shortly after they were both sentenced to three years for aggravated robbery in the High Court last Friday.
“While I was remanded, I understood that there is a price I have to pay and I learned from my mistakes. I don’t have a choice, so I have to pay a price and make the best out of a bad situation,” – Devon Bedford

ImageAn ordinary Sunday at the Leverick Bay dock in Virgin Gorda sprung to life when a Meridian tug boat encountered mechanical problems and sunk to the ocean’s floor, setting off a major diesel oil spill.

In his ongoing quest to promote the music of the youths in the Territory, Craig Lake popularly known as DJ Trash, again organised a successful talent show, which was held last Saturday at the Sir Rupert Briercliffe Hall.

The bodies of Edread Stoutt and Glen Industrious laid to rest last Saturday, October 25th, 2008
They both died a horrendous shooting death together and on Saturday last, hundreds poured out to bid double homicide victims, Edread Stoutt and Glen Industrious Jr farewell during a joint funeral, which was attended by senior Government and police officials.

Mr. Mike Toeneboehn, Regional Sales Manager of Holmatro, Inc. explaining to officers of the Fire and Rescue Service Department the functions of the Holmatro Rescue Equipment (Jaws of Life). The equipment was recently purchased for the department to aid in their rescue operations.
Officers at the Fire and Rescue Services Department sharpened their skills in operating rescue equipment at a one-day training course held last week at the Fire and Rescue Services Department.
