Police are questioning a number of persons in connection with the armed robberies that have taken place within the last two weeks. While no persons have yet been taken into custody, Commissioner Reynell Frazer says chances of apprehending the perpetrators are improving because people are choosing to come forward with information. The team work that comes from a partnership between police and the public is what will keep violent crime out of our communities. Through our collective determination we will maintain this Territory as a safe place to live and work. There are more of us law abiding citizens than those with criminal intent and, therefore through that teamwork we can maintain the kind community we want. Commissioner said. Police continue to seek any information that could help in the identification of person or persons involved any of unsolved cases. Information can be reported to any police officer, police station or by calling the anonymous hotline 800-744-8477 or 800 -744-TIPS In addition, Acting Inspector of the Anti-Drug and Violent Task Force Calvin James is asking organizations that are having fundraisers or similar events to alert the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force in advance so that patrols can be increased within the area.
