The ESHS rams will get an opportunity to avenge last weekend hotly contested 15-14 loss to the Crushers, when they clash this Friday in their opening playoff encounter. Crushers came up with six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat the Rams. Crushers had 15 runs on 5 hits, 5 errors and left 6 runners on base, while Rams had 14 runs on 6 hits, 8 errors and left 10 runners stranded. The winning pitcher was Shakira Skelton who relieved Jahresha Skelton in the sixth inning. The losing pitcher was Jelissa Potter who went all the way. Gertrude Thomas of Crushers was 3-3, 3R, 1RBI. Darea Malone was 1-5, 2R 2RBI. For ESHS Rams Bria Smith was 2-5, 2R, 1RBI. In the other playoff encounter, Lady Braves will tackle Warriors. In the mens division, Young Talent defeated Virgin Gorda All Stars 19-2 on Saturday. Young Talent had 19 runs on 13 hits, 0 errors and left 2 runners on base. Virgin Gorda All Stars had 2 runs on 2 hits 6 errors and left 10 runners on base. The winning pitcher was Jamal Allen and the loser was Andrell Bailey. Nelson Ramirez and Jeremy Penn each went 4-4 with 2 runs scored for Young Talent. Penn had 6RBI and Ramirez had 3. Penn, Mahal DeCastro and Elliston George each had a home run. Shaka Fahie and Andrell Bailey each had one hit for Virgin Gorda All Stars. In game 2 action, Blue Wings defeated Reds 22-4. Blue Wings had 22 runs on 18 hits, 4 errors and left 8 runners on base. Reds had 4 runs on 7 hits, 7 errors and left 7 runners on base. The winning pitcher was Jason Fonseca and the loser was Delvin Jennings. For Blue Wings Raymond Mercer was 4-4, 1HR, 4R, 6RBI, Raphael Jack was 3-4, 2R, 5RBI and Khoy Frett was 3-3 2R, 5RBI. Elwyn Barry of Reds was 2-3, 1R, 1RBI.
