The proposed move of the Tourist Board to the police station on
People don't come to see imposing buildings they come to experience culture in person. Old pictures of what used to be will not bring people in. Most guide books of the Caribbean mention Main Street as the only interesting destination in Road Town and is a must see "before it disappears". Hopefully, the Tourist Board move will draw attention to the importance of this area to the tourist economy of the Territory. Next move is to make
Now let's hope that Town and Country rejects the proposed 6-7 story building right in front of the folk museum, Bougenvillea Clinic and next to Pussers. This would be a jarring eye sore to the scale of the rest of the historic area. Save
