During the presentation Minister Fahie noted that the presentation represents Governments full support for the sport. Today is Elsas day. When they spoke with me, they never had to sell her, her success is a sign that we can invest in our children and this is really encouraging to see at your tender age you can accomplish such a high honour, he appraised. The Minister in his speech also commended Bramble and his staff on the good work that they have been doing, as several of the students trained at the school will move on to higher accomplishments. Myers in expressing her gratitude to the Minister, said she is very thankful for the assistance received from the Government as it helps her to accomplish one of her goals in life and hopes that this opportunity will open the eyes of her fellow youth by showing them all the opportunities sailing and the sea can bring to their door steps. By completing my instructors course it will enable me to help my fellow youth. This qualification is where I start my climb up the ladder to my career, she concluded.
