FAILURE TO DECLARE FUNDS

On 14-09-08 at 20:00hrs, Police arrested Thomas Michael Lewis of California, US for failing to declare US$19,211 to a Custom Officer while entering the BVI via the West End Ferry Terminal. He appeared before the court and was fined $3,000. The remainder of the money was returned.

 

ARMED ROBBERY

On 15-09-08 at 1208hrs, Police arrested Jahnoy Walters of Purcell Estate and charged him for the offences of Aggravated Burglary and Robbery.  His arrest is as a result of a report made on 15-09-08 of an Armed Robbery. He appeared before the court and was remanded at HMS Prison.

 

On 15-09-08 at 1415hrs, Police arrested and jointly charged Seantroy Hanley, Selroy Hanley and A 16-year-old of Purcell Estate with the offences of Aggravated Burglary, Robbery and Criminal Damage. Their arrests are as a result of a report made on 15-09-08 of an Armed Robbery. They appeared before the court and were remanded at HMS Prison d

 

THEFT

On 19-09-08 at 0700hrs, Police arrested and charged Seantroy Hanley for the offence of Theft. His arrest is as a result of a report made on 06-08-08 of a Theft. 

 

HANDLING STOLEN GOODS

On 19-09-08 at 0830hrs, Police arrested and charged Travas Jack of Long Look for the offence of Handling Stolen Goods. His arrest is as a result of a report made on 06-08-08 of a Theft.
