COMMON ASSAULT

On 12-10-08 at 10:30hrs, Police arrested and charged Jario Morris of the Valley, Virgin Gorda for the offences of Being Armed with an Offensive Weapon; Threatening Language and Common Assault.  His arrest is as a result of a report made of a domestic violence incident on 12-10-08.  

HANDLING STOLEN GOODS

On 11-10-08 at 1630hrs, Police arrested and charged Kenroy Davis of Long Trench for the offence of Handling Stolen Goods. His arrest is as a result of a report made on 22-09-08 of a burglary.

THEFT

On 11-10-08 at 1750hrs, Police arrested and charged Vivian Bhario Persaud of Purcell Estate for the offences of Theft, Driving without a Driver’s Licence and Driving an Unlicenced and Uninsured Vehicle.  He was granted bail in the sum of US$5,000 with one surety to appear at the Magistrate’s Court on the 27-10-08 at 0900hrs.

DRIVE UNLICENSED VEHICLE

On 13-10-08 at 1015hrs, Police arrested and charged Joseph Smith of Huntums Ghut, on a warrant in the first instance for the following offences of Reckless Driving; Driving an Unlicensed Vehicle; Driving an Uninsured Vehicle; Driving without a Driver’s Licence; Driving an Unregistered Vehicle and Keeping for Use an Unlicensed Vehicle.  His arrest is as a result of a report of a traffic collision which occurred on 10-06-08.   

ASSAULT ON POLICE

At 0810 hrs on 17-10-08, Police arrested and charged Marvin Gumbs of no fix place of abode for the offences of Assault on Police; Resisting Arrest; Disorderly conduct; Throwing missiles and Damaging property.  His arrest is as a result of a report made by Vanessa Surujdeo of Fort Hill on 16-10-08.
