Let’s be honest, we all love Christmas because it gives us the opportunity to tell a love one or friend what’s on our wish list and then pray and hope it comes true.

Then as we may or may not get what we want, the New Year creeps up on us and we sit back and reflect on our lives and vow to make better decisions for the bright and New Year!

Holiday Cheers hit the streets and coerce several persons to reveal what’s on their Christmas list and thoughts they have for their New Year resolution. Here is what they had to say:

Nicola Daley: Spending quality time with my honey is top on my list and it is gonna come through. (grins, grins, grins)  Let me see what do I have planned for the New Year… ahhh yes, to gain some weight and to push myself to do better in all aspect of my life.

Clarisse Encontre: I would like a new iPod, Jimmy Choo shoes and jeans (smiles), but would I get them I really don’t know! For the New Year, I plan to eat healthy and have a boyfriend.

Thomas Donovan: I really don’t believe in having a Christmas list, but I do know what I want accomplished in the New Year. That is to build my house – one in the US and two here. Actually, I have the plans right here in my pocket.

Aya-Marie Hewett: I love clothing so some Jimmy Choo shoes, pumps are right up my alley. I also want an iPod touch screen. Hmmm for the New Year losing five pounds and continue to work out are top on my programme.

Sophia Bain: Various bottles of perfumes and a new car that is probably a really big wish list (laughs). I hope I’m lucky!! And for my New Year resolution I hope to get my driver’s license so that my mother don’t have to drive me everywhere!

Natalie Huggins: Let me see a laptop, a digital camera, a shopping spree for a new wardrobe and maybe a new car (laughs). Yep, these are all on my list. But for 2008 I want to complete my studies at the College (H. Lavity Stoutt Community College).

Andrew Wilkins: I want an iPod touch and to see my family and friends back in Memphis – which I am gonna do anyway!. My New Year’s resolution is to focus more energy on making music and promoting my reggae project, SONS OF SOIL.

Govian Ivan: For the New Year I want to continue working so that I could keep paying my bills especially my rent (laughs).
