Cabinet has approved the appointment of nine individuals to serve as executive members of British Virgin Islands Tourist Board for a four-year period effective February 1, 2008. At its meeting last week Cabinet agreed to appoint Terrance Ford to serve as acting chairman of the board. Premier and Minister for Tourism Honourable Ralph T. ONeal, OBE will designate an acting deputy chairman in the near future. Other newly appointed executive members of the Tourist Board include Melvin Clifton, Lemuel Smith, Samuel Henry, and Charles Tobias. They are joined by Bellencita Creque, Julia Dawson Christopher, Nelda Brydon, and Sharon Flax-Mars. Permanent Secretary in the Premiers Office Rosalie Adams was appointed to serve as an ex-officio member.
