Thoughts about the College, its role, mission, programmes and future

The College is a dynamic institution that has impacted the British Virgin Islands in so many ways. Its innovative programmes have advanced the human resources of the territory.

One aspect, in particular, is the College classics, which are truly inspirational.

I wait with great enthusiasm, the day when the institution would be able to confer four-year degrees.

Thoughts about time spent at HLSCC, education received and impact on your life

I could never forget the classes at the back of the College bakery and on the second floor of the Omar Hodge Building and then eventually at the Paraquita Bay Campus.

I was so fortunate to sit at the feet of so many intellectual stalwarts of this illustrious territory, namely Dr. Karl Dawson, Mrs. Jennie Wheatley, Dr. Patricia Turnbull, Dr. Lucia Woods, Dr. John Wright, and Mrs. Jocelyn Rhymer, among others.

The training and experience I gained was dynamic, life changing and inspirational. It provided a base for my future endeavours. Students and lecturers learnt from each other and this made learning all the more impacting.
