Less than a week after Premier Ralph T. O’Neal announced that the traffic lights at the Road Town Roundabout will be switched off permanently, three vehicles trying to traverse the historic structure collided last Friday. The vehicles appeared to be travelling in separate lanes and may have failed to give way at the intersection and slammed into each other. The last time there was an accident in the vicinity of the Roundabout, it involved relatives of the Minister for Communications and Works, Julian Fraser, who said the incident represented a need for the lights at the Roundabout. However, Minister Fraser has not commented on the recent accident. Many argue that with or without the traffic lights, a solution is definitely needed. (Photo: CADESHA NEEDHAM) Comments (0)
