CANOC to meet here

The BVI Olympic Committee is facilitating the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANOC) Executive Committee meeting, which is being held here, September 18-20.

It will mark the first time that the CANOC Executive Committee will meeting in the Territory. CANOC was formed in 1999. The meeting comes on the heels of the cancellation of the Caribbean Games which were scheduled for Trinidad in July. CANOC is made of up 26 members.
The Executive Committee members are:
•    President, Steve Stoute, Barbados
•    Secretary General, Elton Prescott, Trinidad and Tobago
•    Treasurer, Alfred Emmanuel, St. Lucia
Members are:
•    Angel “Chico” Morales, USVI
•    Larry Davis, Bahamas
•    Don Anderson, Jamaica
•    John Lewis, British Virgin Islands
